From February 24 to 28, 2025, students participated in Cookery Week, an engaging event designed to enhance their culinary skills and cultural awareness. Each day featured a unique theme, allowing students to explore different cuisines and cooking techniques. Activities included hands-on cooking sessions, competitions, and demonstrations by professional chefs led by the MYP coordinator herself. Students prepared dishes from various cultures, learned about nutrition and food safety, and showcased their creativity in a final cook-off. The event concluded with a tasting session, where participants enjoyed the delicious meals they had prepared.
Cookery Week was a fun and educational experience that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and an appreciation for diverse cuisines.
